Viarcom Inc is hiring 45 Kitchen Staff to work in Duck, NC, from April 1, 2026 until November 30, 2026 for
a full-time temporary need. Primary duties will include: Stocking wait staff serving stations with napkins,
utensils, trays, and condiments, and assisting the wait staff with all aspects of service. Clearing tables
and preparing them for the next customers. Assisting in cleaning and opening or closing tasks.
Scraping food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses, washing dirty dishes, and
putting them away. Assisting with sweeping, mopping, and polishing the restaurant, bar, kitchen, and
equipment. Employer will provide 1 week of safety/sanitation training. The Employer intends to provide
or assist with housing for its workers. The Employer also intends to offer optional daily transportation.
The Employer may deduct a fair and reasonable and proportional amount for these offerings if the
Employer is incurring costs, and if the employees choose these services and approves paycheck
deductions. Employe will also make deductions that are required by law. Employer does not expect
reimbursement for the 1 week of training provided.
Employer will provide without charge/fees all tools, supplies, and equipment necessary. Workers will be
likely work 8 hour shifts 5 days per week. Days and Shifts will vary with shifts starting at 6:00am and
ending at 12:00am. Pay will be $12.80 per hour for regular time and $19.20 overtime per hour and single
work week computing will be used. Workers will be paid at least once every two weeks.
As applicable, the employer will reimburse in the first work week all visa, visa processing, border crossing
and other related fees, as mandated by the government and not exceeding the mandated
reimbursements. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the
worker for transportation and subsistence. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is
dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation
and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the
worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of
transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable
common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day
during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Workers will be provided with board,
lodging, or other facilities and/or the employer will assist workers in securing board, lodging, or other
facilities. This is will at the option of the employee.
